Do your kids act? We can’t get ours to stop. Life seems to be their stage. And while we’re on the subject, we can’t seem to get them to stop singing either.

So, we thought we give them the chance to shine by putting them on stage and letting them do what they seem to do everywhere else. Sing and act.

Christmas 2006, our children astounded us with an amazing performance of Angel Alert. Complete with wonderful stage decorations, full choir, and excellent cast of characters, our Sunday morning service came alive with the passion and and joy of our children. Our kids then went on to perform the musical in care homes around Maple Ridge giving them an opportunity to experience the joy of bringing smiles to others.

Last year’s musical was presented in February and was called “Cool in the Furnace”, a biblical story of Daniel and his friends Shadrack, Mechack and Abendego. It was a powerful story about the power of prayer and standing up for God’s ways over man’s ways.
